The company was conceptualised in late 2019 and is the brain child of Norman and Dale. Armed with their own knowledge in survey, geology, mining and software, they decided to offer their services with the intent of ensuring that miners and mine owners extract minerals not only in accordance with the law but also in the most safe, efficient and least costly manner and with the advent of COVID-19, the safety of our practice has increased tenfold.
After over a year of hard work and much disruption due to COVID-19 we received our Certificate of Incorporation in October, 2020 after nearly a year of practicing. Business picked up significantly in 2021 and we can foresee major growth in the coming years.
Surveying is a key component of any operation. All operations require surveying. No operation should be without the support of a surveyor and his or her crew. This is for several reasons, the primary reason being transferring data from reality to plans. Without a survey this is simply not possible.
Implicit modelling is a game-changing innovation in geological modelling (top and middle images). Traditionally, geological models are produced using a manual process. Sections are defined, and lithologies, faults and veins are drawn on the sections. Lines are then drawn to connect surfaces across multiple sections
Architeca makes use of two major exploration techniques, each with its own set of advantages. The use of these techniques allows us to produce a holistic understanding of the geology at each location where exploration is occurring.
We have significant experience sinking shafts, ranging from artisanal German shafts to professional, industry standard concrete embanked shafts. Additionally, we have the necessary skill to sink shafts of varying collar sizes from 1.5 m x 1.2 m to 3 x 2.5 m (top image). We can design and sink any shaft to suit the needs of your operation. No shaft sinking project is too big or too small.

An operation of any scale needs to be conceptualised to suit the needs of the owner and the fulfill the demands of the operation. Additionally, deposit type affects the design of the mine. Wider orebodies might be suited to an open cast mining setup as opposed to an underground operation! Let us do the thinking for you so that you get the most out of your operation!
Any operation requires its surface and subsurface resources to be quantified! The importance of which is that determining the quantity of the ore underground or the sands in an old tailings dam will determine the viability of the operation and this will inform the scale to which the operation can reach. You need to know how much mining can occur at your site and for how long!

The operation is wholly owned by Norman and Dale. The company is distributed into shares that constitute 100% of the company into two equal parts of 50%.
